Love You, Bye!

Privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-10-29

Love You, Bye! collects no data. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the game never connects to the internet. Everything it saves stays on your iPhone. On the App Store, its privacy label is Data Not Collected.

This policy covers the Love You, Bye! app for iPhone and this website. Love You, Bye! is made by Syed Javaid ("we", "us").

What we collect

Nothing. Love You, Bye! contains no networking code and makes no network requests, so nothing you do in the game is sent to us or to anyone else.

Your real calls and contacts

Every call in the game is made up and plays only inside the app. Love You, Bye! never makes, receives, reads or shows your real phone calls, messages, voicemail or phone number, and it never asks for access to your contacts. The callers, their numbers (in the fictional 555-01xx range) and their texts are part of the game.

What stays on your iPhone

Love You, Bye! saves a few things inside the app on your iPhone so the game works the next time you open it:

Love You, Bye! never asks for your name or any other personal information. None of this is synced to iCloud or sent anywhere. Like other app data, it's included in your iPhone's own backups.

Removing it

To remove everything Love You, Bye! has saved on your iPhone, delete the app.

The hinge

On iPhone Duo, Love You, Bye! reads the hinge while you play: whether the phone is closed, partly open or fully open, and how far it's open. Opening, half-closing and closing are the game's controls; the angle only moves the drawn lid's shine and the creak sound. The hinge readings are used in the moment on your iPhone and are never stored or sent. Only the game's results, such as stars and grades, are saved, on your iPhone.

What Love You, Bye! doesn't use

Love You, Bye! doesn't use the microphone, the camera, motion sensors, location, contacts, photos or notifications, and it never asks for those permissions. Its voices and sounds are generated by the app itself, and nothing is recorded.

Third parties

Love You, Bye! contains no third-party code: no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. It has no Game Center, no sign-in and no in-app purchases.

Apple and your iPhone

Apple runs the App Store and may collect information under its own privacy policy, for example when you download the app. If you turn on sharing with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics; you control that in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. Backups of your iPhone are between you and Apple; we can't see them.

Children

Love You, Bye! is a comedy game that children may play. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There are no ads, no purchases, no chat and no way to contact real people in the app. If you believe a child has emailed us, tell us and we'll delete the message.

Your choices and rights

Because we hold no data about you, there's nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. We don't sell or share personal information. You can delete the app at any time, as described above.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics, trackers, web fonts or scripts, and loads nothing from other sites. It's hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare may log technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you email us

Love You, Bye! has no in-app contact form. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any list. Our email is handled by Gmail (Google).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. A version of Love You, Bye! that collects data would say so here and in its App Store privacy label first.
